Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)
 

At Imperial Dental Specialist Centre, all information and data concerning our patients are handled with the utmost care and responsibility.  As such, all staffs in Imperial Dental Specialist Centre are familiar and well trained with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010. From your first visit, only necessary information is collected and from then on, the information is well kept and protected by our team. These data include personal information, treatments received as well as photographs taken.

Patients have the right to:

a. Access their Personal Data
b. Correct their Personal Data
c. Withdraw consent to processing of Personal Data
d. Disclosure of Personal Data in specific circumstances only

Additionally, we may use or disclose your personal information for purposes such as:

a. Reminder calls or Short Message Service (SMS) for your upcoming appointments
b. Follow up calls on the next day to access your condition after certain treatments
c. Cooperating with insurance agencies to complete claims or confirm dental treatments received by you
d. To collect dues and payments
e. Other purposes which are relevant and necessary to your treatment with us

If you do not agree or do not want your information to be used for the above purposes, do inform us upon your next visit.
